The art of flower decoration has always instilled in me a challenging and stimulating career. It has offered me an opportunity to develop my artistic skills such that I have always tried to elevate the craft of flower arranging to an art form.
My work ranges from simple styled flower designs to lavish settings as Cathedrals, Banquets and Palaces (e.g. is the flower display specifically designed for the Epiphany Concert held at the Palace in Valletta in 2005).
My 23 years of experience in this field has contributed to reach my standards and also testifies my growing confidence and ability as a floral designer. My personal successes are focused on wedding flowers numerous both in Malta and in Gozo and are unique, and in themselves an impressive recommendation. Much of the work is based on visual sensibility and creativity and supported by excellent craft-skills. The ability to plan well in advance and to have constant co-ordination is also required to achieve optimum results.
In my opinion the right combination of color and texture is as important or perhaps even more than the precise placement of material. A floral decoration should be a celebration of nature, reflecting its colours, shapes, texture and spontaneous movement. It was this theme that inspired me to come up with my company name i.e. "Flower Celebrations". Style is a matter of personal taste, but for most people, the traditional type of arrangements is preferred when setting up flowers for Weddings rather than the line and abstract display chosen by some of the fashionable set.
My services include but are not limited to: - Fresh & dry flower arrangements. - Hiring of Arches of flowers: 3 types to choose from. - Rotating Arrangements and stylish Guest book ornamental tables. - Accessories include different types of standing columns such as angel stands, urns, roman or marble-like columns, ferro battuto stands as well as wicker baskets. - Headdresses and Bouquets
