The PHOENIX GROUP was born out of a family business which was set up in 1948 and which pioneered the distribution of domestic appliances in Malta. In 1982 the late Joseph Petroni set up the new company Phoenix Domestic Appliances Ltd together with his son Stephen who is the present Managing Director. In 1995 the company moved into a spacious purpose-built complex in Old Railway Road, Sta. Venera (opposite St. Philip's Hospital) which made it possible to add new lines to existing ones.

Such was the company's success over the years, that its domestic appliances can now be found in many homes all over Malta and Gozo. Phoenix is now synonymous with quality appliances.
