Emma
and Paul, are a couple who came over from the UK to get married
here in Malta. Emma and Paul left a lot of preparations of the wedding
to the team of it-Tieg. With the help of experts on the programme
we were able to advise the couple with regards to the preparation
of the venue, flowers, hair and make up for Emma and all the elements
necessary for the successful wedding. We feature some of these sessions
on the programme taking you through the preparations of their wedding
right through to the big day. Their wedding was held in the rich
surroundings of the Le Meridien Phonenicia and we covered their
wedding from food preparation to their going away. After their wedding
we met the happy couple before they left Malta were our sponsors
presented them with a variety of gifts including a hamper from Cleland
and Souchet and a dream honeymoon, a Mediterranean Cruise courtesy
of Arrigo travel the local representatives for Carnival Cruises.
Their flights were offered by Air Malta.Another lovely couple that featured in our programme were Angus and Eva who celebrated a civil wedding followed by a sit down banquet at the romantic Selmun Castle.
Eva and Angus were a foreign couple who organized their wedding here in Mata through a local wedding planner Sarah Young. This was a wedding with a difference, it was an intimate wedding with a small number of guests. There was also a lot of attention to detail and this wedding in a such a unique venue was reminiscent of fairy tales. The wedding of Monica and Mark took place in the beautiful Villa Arrigo. A large sit down mean with impeccable silver service and sumptuous food. Wedding preparations at the venue were taken care of by Mrs. Veronica Zammit Tabona and Mr. John Vella Galea of Osborne Caterers, who invited us into their kitchens for a sneak preview of their food preparation shared their expertise and recommendations to our audience.
The wedding was held in a marquis in the lush of gardens accompanied by Frank Bonnici and his lively band.
The evening started with soft classical music and ended with jazzy tunes that all the guests danced too. We featured a candid interview with Mark and Monica separately before the wedding. We sent Monica for a make over while Frank took Mark on a shopping spree to buy an elegant suit. We sent a chauffer driven Rolls Royce and treated them to a lovely romantic candle lit dinner at The Phoenix Restaurant at Le Meridien Phoenicia.
Yet another
wedding featured on It-Tieg was that of Josanne and Alfred who had
a Christmas wedding in the grand Castello dei Baroni, Wardija. The
perfect venue for a winter wedding! The episodes featuring this
wedding covered the preparations including a lovely Christmas atmosphere
with a live Christmas tree, poinsettias and a warm blazing fire.
We invited Stella Maris Choir Boys that delighted us with their
angelic voices as the sang Chrismtas Carols. These are but some of the couples we introduced to our audience throughout the years. Follow It-Tieg this year where you will be introducing many other couples through whom we can discover different ways of planning a wedding.
