While it is true that people change over the years, sometimes even radically, in most cases we are who we are by the time we are in our 20s and 30s. It is for this reason that in choosing a partner for life, compatibility on core issues is vital and should be something which we are sure of before taking the big step. Of course, there have been cases where either the man or the woman only show their true colours after their marriage, but I personally think this does not happen as often as we think. In most cases, when problems crop up (if we had to be honest with ourselves), there would have been small signs and signals before the wedding, but the determination to “go ahead with it” often blinds couples to what is staring them in the face. And while the idea of a soul mate might sound hopelessly romantic, I still like to believe that yes, there are people who are meant to be together because they just click. It’s not just a physical chemistry or mutual attraction based on looks, but a mental connection in which they are simply in tune with one another. This is not to say that there won’t ever be major disagreements – with relationships that should be a given – but if you at least start off your life together with the same outlook and share the same priorities about what matters the most, I feel you have more of a chance of making the marriage last long term.

Couples who attended sampled great catering food on Sunday 1st April 2007 between 11am and 8pm. Cordina Outside Catering by Cafe Cordina held an Open Day at Torre Paulina, Madliena Road in Madliena.
Cordina Outside Catering Menus start from Lm4.50 per person. Special offers included free nights at the Corinthia Marina, free chocolate fountain and discounted fees on selected venues.

Vassallo & Xuereb Ltd participated in the Spring-Fair at MFCC Ta`Qali from the 10th till the 13th of April (both days inclusive) at Stand B14, where various discounts were be offered on all iron works.
Issued with The Sunday Times, this was a special edition of the Sunday Circle entirely dedicated to Weddings & Homes. Not to be missed!
One could read about over-the-top celebrations at famous people’s weddings, Malta’s most idyllic churches and chapels to get married in, a special feature about spring gardening by Maurice Mizzi and get a glimpse of the way our homes will be built in the future.

Traditional Maltese Wedding @ Buskett
Saturday 28th June
The Malta Council for Culture and The Arts invited the sub committee for culture within St. Catherine Musical Society of Zurrieq to repeat the re-enactment of the Traditional Maltese Wedding during the Imnarja Festivities at Buskett next Saturday 28th June at 11.00pm. The wedding ceremony will take place on stage followed by a wedding march that will take the wedding party around the gardens later.
