Wedding invitations are one of the most important parts of the special day. In addition to their practical purpose of giving invitees all of the crucial information about your ceremony and reception, your invitations are your loved one's introduction to your wedding; this is when they form their first impressions of the ceremony yet to come. For this reason, many couples go out of their way to make their wedding invitations a reflection not only of the ceremony but of their personalities. Depending on how traditional you wish your wedding to be, there is quite a bit of etiquette to follow in regards to the invitations to the ceremony. Whatever guidelines you decide to follow, remember to include the four essentials of any invitation: Who is hosting? What is being celebrated? When? Where? Once you have these down, you can be as creative or as traditional as you want with your invitations.
